Rules
Ragging : Ragging is considered a criminal offence
and is prohibited in the college campus. The college
authority has the power to register FIRs whenever such
immoral acts ragging comes to the notice.
Election : Under graduate students between the ages
17 years and 22 years are eligible to contest student
union election as per the verdict of the Supreme Court
dated 22/09/06 passed relating to the case of the Kerela
University VS Council Principal of Education.
Uniform : Wearing of Uniform in all of academic and
social functions of the college is mandatory, violation of
the rule is an offence liable to punished. The details of
the uniform are : Boys :- Light sky blue coloured shirt.,
Dark navy blue colouted trouser.Girls :- White '
makhela-chadar' with sky blue coloured ribbon on the edge
Or Sky blue coloured churidar with white churni/dopatta.Sweater
:- Sky blue colour.
Identity Card :A non-transferable Identity Card is
issued to each student after the admission into the `
college. This card contains information of the holder,
such as Name, Session, Class, Roll. No., Address, etc.
alongwith a passport size photograph of the student. It is
essential for every student to carry the identity card
with him/her so that it can be produced whenever
necessary. To franchise voting rights, it is mandatory to
produce this card by each student. This Card has to be
renewed at the beginning of every academic session.
Attendance : Attendance in general as well as
tutorial classes is strictly compulsory. A student must
attend not less than 65% of the lectured delivered in each
subject to be eligible for appearing in the university or
council examination. A student having less than 65%
attendance will be treated as either non-collegiate or dis-collegiate
as the case may be. A non-collegiate student will have to
pay a fine of Rs. 100.00 per subject for appearing in the
examination. A student failing to attend classes for 25
days at a stretch from the date of commencement of classes
shall forfeit his/her seat. |
