S.B.M.S College provides excellent library facilities within the college campus. There are two types of Library - (i) Central Library and (ii) Departmental Library. Students may borrow books from the Library against the Library Cards. They may read various newspapers and journals in the spacious reading room of the library. At present there are about 20,000 books including some valuable reference books which facilitate the students offering major in different subjects taught in the college. Mention may be made of the numerous volumes of Encyclopaedias and classical literatures ehich are of much value for the teachers and the students.

Computers have been installed in the library hall for the smooth functioning of issuing and keeping records of books. Working hours of the library : 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Extension of Library Building

Extension work of the library building to facilitate the students with an ideal reading room with financial assistance from the U.G.C. has been completed in this year. Now the student will get more space to do their library work in the college.
